The Energy Corridor District runs along I-10 from Kirkwood Road to west of Barker Cypress Road and extends south along Eldridge Parkway past Briar Forest Drive, according to the district's own description. Office campuses cluster along Eldridge Parkway, Dairy Ashford Road, Park Ten and Westlake Park Boulevard, with the Addicks and Barker reservoirs and their parkland at the western end.
The district lists bp, Shell, CITGO, ConocoPhillips, Fluor, Kiewit, McDermott and Baker Hughes among the companies there, and ConocoPhillips has its headquarters on North Eldridge Parkway. Around them are engineering, construction and energy-services firms of every size, which is why so many of our west-side guests are on project, rotation or training assignments.
Closer to our buildings, Memorial City has its mall, office towers and a hospital campus. The Westchase District is to the south via Beltway 8, and the Galleria and Uptown are to the east on I-10 and the West Loop.
CityCentre has restaurants, bars and shops around a central plaza, many close to our buildings. Memorial City Mall and the big-box and grocery options along I-10 cover everyday errands, and the Town and Country area has more dining a short drive away.
From CityCentre, most guests drive west on I-10 (the Katy Freeway) and exit at Kirkwood, Dairy Ashford, Eldridge or Highway 6, depending on the campus. Memorial Drive and Briar Forest Drive are surface-street alternatives, and Beltway 8 (the Sam Houston Tollway) handles north-south trips. We do not quote drive times, because peak traffic on I-10 varies a lot; check your route at the hours you will actually drive. If your office is at the far western end of the district, tell us and we will say honestly whether CityCentre is the right base.
Companies can ask for direct billing and a single point of contact for every apartment; see corporate housing in Houston.
